Dr. Bruce Elsey (right) is the founder and pioneer of the first "feline only" practice in Colorado. Dr. Elsey graduated from Kansas State University with honors in 1977 and opened the All Cat Clinic one year later. Dr. Elsey is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP), the Cornell Feline Health Center, the Denver Veterinary Medical Association, the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). In 1989, Dr. Elsey founded Precious Cat Litter, the worlds first sodium bentonite clumping cat litter. Dr. Elsey saw the company as a way to make cat ownership much easier by simplifying litter box maintenance. Not using the litter box is the number one behavioral reason that cats end up in shelters. Dr. Elsey is an expert and visionary in the feline behavioral field and uses his medical background to provide solutions for cats and their owners. Dr. Elsey has been married for 26 years to Kathleen and has two identical twin sons, Bryan and Chris, who attend college. He has several animal companions, which include two cats, Mickey and Minnie, several goldfish in a backyard pool, two zebra finches, and a Welsh Corgie puppy.
